Excellency,
Upon my return to New York, I wish to express my deepest appreciationfor the generous hpspitality accorded my wife and me, and my delegation, during our visit to Hyderabad. It was the most fitting conclusion to my visit to India, which exemplifies the extraordinary strides your country and your region are making in creating a high-tech economy which can benefit all citizens.
By focusing not only on hi-tech industries, but also on providing the most basic amenities and educational opportunities, you are inspiring developing countries across the world to do more and do better for their people, especially in providing them with an opportunity to create prosperity through innovation, trade and higher productivity. My wife and I also enjoyed immensely our visit with the women's group, and were delighted to see the excitement and hope in their eye. By giving them the tools to make the most of their abilities, you are serving all citizens of Andhra Pradesh and providing a model for India and beyond. I look forward to my next visit to India, and to Hyderabad, and wish you all success in your endeavors.
