Introduction

The Programme Support Unit (PSU), located in Hyderabad, was in existence upto 31st March, 2004. The PSU had supported the implementation of APRLP through the on-going District Water Management Agency (DWMA).  The main challenge of APRLP was how to strengthen and change the system from within.

In broad terms, the main functions of the PSU were to learn (primarily through experiences generated in pilot projects), share and incorporate these lessons, stimulate and facilitate others to learn, whilst managing the change process.
