ORDER:

            Pensions are being distributed to 15.19 lakhs   Old Age Beneficiaries of the age of 65 and above and who  are destitute having little or no regular means of subsistence from their own source of income or through financial support from their own family members. The commissioner, Women Empowerment and Self Employment, Hyderabad informed that there is demand to increase the number of pensions . District Collectors  have also informed that public representative have also requested for sanction of additional pensions.

 

2.         Government, after careful examination of the requests of the District Collectors and the Commissioner  Women Empowerment and Self Employment, Hyderabad,  for sanction of additional Pensions  here by sanction additional pensions of 1,50,000   with effect from 1.4.2005. The Sanction of pensions would be in accordance with the  norms laid down in the reference 2nd cited  i.e. ‘The beneficiary of the age of 65 and above the age, who are destitute having little or no regular means of subsistence from their own source of income or thorough financial support from their family members’.  The statement showing the district wise additional allocation, is enclosed herewith. The additional Pensions will be sanctioned under the Non Plan Budget Head of ‘2235-03-MH101-SH(04)-310-312.’
