Training and Technology Development Centres (TTDCs)
 


Objectives:

  • Providing skill development training in improved technologies to the Self Help Groups

  • Showcasing appropriate technologies with incubators for providing hands on experience.



    • Govt. of India sanctioned Special Projects for establishment of TTDCs in 22 districts with a total cost of Rs. 1500.00 lakhs to be shared between central and state in the ratio of 75:25. Funds to a tune of Rs. 1425.07 lakhs have been released so far. Centres have been started in all the districts and trainings are taken up. Under the scheme 22 centres in Rural Districts of Andhra Pradesh are established. To achieve the objectives as many as 500,000 women have been trained in these centres and  services are being provided for setting up income generation activities.
