Rural Poverty (SERP) is implementing Indira Kranthi Patham (IKP) in
all the 22 rural districts of A.P.

Building
There are 1,06,60,968
members in 9,33,585 SHGs exclusively for women. A total of 36,391
Village Organizations (VOs), 1099 Mandal Samakhyas (MSs) and 22
Zilla Samakhyas have come into existence in 22 districts. As on
today, the total Savings and Corpus of SHG Members are Rs.2660.96
Crores and Rs.4508.92 crores respectively.
Bank Loans and Pavala Vaddi
During this financial year
up to February 2010, Rs.5105.59 crores of bank loans are given under
Bank linkages programme. Under Pavala Vaddi Incentive Rs.154.25
Crores is given to SHG members during the financial year, thus
totaling to Rs.564.25 Crores since inception of the scheme.
Enhanced
Livelihoods of the Poor
To enhance the livelihoods
of the poor, an amount of Rs. 919.81 Crores is given as Community
Investment Fund up to end of February 2010. Under the land Access
Programme the rights of the poor over 3.99 lakh Acres of land
restored. The incomes of the rural poor are secured and enhanced
through 2,10,691 jobs for rural youth up to end of February 2010.
Community Managed
Sustainable Agriculture
Under this initiative,
pesticide free cultivation is encouraged by the farmers in 17.00
lakh Acres up to February 2010 by benefitting 6.45 lakh farmers
during 2009-10. The net saving to the farmer depending upon the
